Legend racing

The legend racing started over in the USA in 1992 and since then, Legend racing has grown heading all over Europe. Its quickly growing here in the UK, every race has full grids, from 28 cars, to 36 cars depending on the circuit.

The cars all run on tight regulations such as, same tyres, same engines, same fuel, minimum ride height etc. this is to keep the cost down, and also to keep the cars at the same spec so the racing comes mainly down to the driver.

The Legends are a much loved formula by people all over the country and thousands turn out to watch them race. They are 1 of the support races for the British truck racing championship.

Every race meeting is televised and is shown on Motors TV and British Eurosport 1 which proves that the fast growing world of Legend racing is very popular.

There are 16 rounds rolled in to 12 race meetings which are held at major race tracks all over the country such as Brands Hatch, Pembrey, Donnington Park, Anglesey and many more!
Anglesey is the home of the Legend racing UK.

At every race meeting, the Legends have one 15 minute practice, two 8 lap races and the at the end of the day they have a 10 lap grand final. There is no qualifying so instead they pull car numbers out of a hat so its the luck of the draw that will determine each race drivers starting position.

Every race is started with a rolling start which always makes entering the 1st corner very exciting.
